Internship positions are available year round and are unpaid. Hours are flexible with interns expected to work a minimum of 20 hour per week. Interns will provide direct assistance to staff by creating a knowledge base in relevant foreign policy issues facing the Asia Pacific region. Interns will gain direct experience in developing marketing and outreach strategies, researching case studies, providing editorial assistance, working to secure funds for development, assist with maintaining the website and office network, and with general administrative support.

Strong research, analytical, writing and communication skills plus computer literacy are required. Desirable skills include fluency in languages other than English, overseas experience, and demonstrated interest in Asia. Interns' previous experience and familiarity with relevant issues usually shape the level of assignments.
