Sponsoring Refugee Families in Afghanistan
Lailoma and her family are Tajiks from Kabul, Afghanistan. Her family fled to Pakistan to escape attacks by ethnic military groups during the most recent civil war. Lailoma returned with her family to Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban in hopes of having a better way of life. Now, the family of ten is living in the streets of BiBi Mahroow. "We are all sick due to poor hygiene of our living environment and the bad economy in the camp."
