JOLO APRIL 2011

The Jolo Emergency Response Team, supported the Dept. of Social Welfare prepare water purification sachets, distributed by AAI, manufactured by Procter & Gamble through Americares humanitarian organization. Some of the beneficiaries of the AAI assistance were these residents whose houses were destroyed by the flood.
Finally home, this family will now have access to clean, sanitized water and family kits for their use. Town residents wait to receive AAI water-purifying packets and a demonstration by the Jolo Emergency Relief team.
Dr. Jodl Isahac demonstrates to residents how to sanitize polluted water using PUR Water-Sanitizing packets provided by AAI, through AmeriCares, and the manufacturer Proctor and Gampble Co. People wait for their names to be called to receive relief items. Those listed by the assessment team were the ones hardest hit by the flood.
